The main organiser, Jan-
Mr. Suleman & family have a number of businesses in the area and wanted to give something back to the community and encourage youth to be engaged in beneficial activities, like sports, rather than loitering. The event started at Maputsoe border, passing Hlotse and Teyateyaneng, before finishing in front of one of his shops in Ha Seotsanyana, Mapoteng.
The race was held in a good “carnival” spirit and even attracted an international
team from Potchefstroom. They enjoyed the race and have encouraged that this race
should continue to grow in future years. We were impressed by the professionalism
displayed by the organisers and the excellent job done by the local police, to ensure
