BMX in Lesotho

BMX features high on Lesotho Cycling plans for the near future. At the moment there is no structured programme for BMX in Lesotho. However, discussions are ongoing with BMX commissioners from other African federations as well as national partners who share our passion to get Lesotho Cycling BMX off the ground.

Historically, Lesotho BMX riders have been very influential in the region. During the early years of the BMX phenomenon, Lesotho was well-represented at international events. People involved at that stage remember that even South African BMX riders wanted to gain Lesotho citizenship to race internationally during the sporting boycott of the apartheid era.
